Cartesian Eco-FemDarkanism: She Comes From the Earth, Therefore We Are sets out the academic and philosophic underpinnings of the narrative for our current project. Published in the journal Environmental Law in 2007, we spent the Spring and Summer of 2009 adapting the article into a mutli-media presentation that blends our professional and artistic abilities with our passion for time in the wild.

Remembering Rain is one example of the way we believe Cartesian Eco-FemDarkanism can be applied practically. Exploring ancestral traditions of rainwater harvesting, the article suggests ways that modern water systems might be powerfully augmented or even replaced by a basic, community-level (re)understanding of rain.
