Carrying the Black Lantern: 12 for 12 Project - September 2011. Charles Gottlieb, a graduate of Albany Law School, has proposed a twelve-month blog series that will chronicle at least one trip into the backcountry each month over the next year. In each post he provides stories of his adventures, reflects on their impact on his thought about nature, and shares some images from the backcountry.
